The Look North Recognition Luncheon, hosted by the Clay County Economic Development Council, is a signature annual event that honors visionary leadership, community impact, and economic innovation in the Northland. The luncheon honors an individual whose contributions have significantly enhanced economic growth, civic engagement, and the quality of life in Clay County. This prestigious gathering brings together business leaders, elected officials, and community partners to recognize a recipient who exemplifies the values of collaboration, entrepreneurship, and regional commitment. It serves not only as a celebration but also as a platform to highlight the progress and future potential of Clay County and the greater Northland area. The honoree is someone who truly “looks north” — investing in and uplifting the people and places of our community.

Check-in and open networking will begin at 11:00 AM, with the program starting promptly at 11:30 AM and concluding at 1:00 PM.
